Pulmonary Medicine

If you have been diagnosed with lung disease, you will meet one of our pulmonologists who will help with the diagnosis, staging and treatment of the disease. They are a part of a larger team that may include thoracic surgeons, interventional radiologists, medical oncologists, and radiation oncologists.

Narinder S. Arora, MD

Dr. Arora received his medical degree from Gout Medical College in India, and he completed his residency at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center in Salem, Virginia. He completed his fellowship in pulmonology at the University of Virginia.

Dr. Foreman joined Martha Jefferson Medical Staff in 2009. She completed her fellowship in pulmonary & critical care medicine at the University of Virginia and a sleep medicine fellowship at the University of North Carolina. She is board-certified in internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care medicine.

Dr. Hammond received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia (VCU), and he completed his residency at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He completed his fellowship in pulmonology at the University of Virginia. He is board-certified in sleep medicine, internal medicine, pulmonary medicine and critical care. In addition, Dr. Hammond is the Medical Director of the Intensive Care Unit and Respiratory Therapy at Martha Jefferson Hospital.

Dr. Schult joined the Martha Jefferson Medical Staff in 2004. He received his medical training in Ireland at University College Galway at National University of Ireland. He completed his internal medicine residency at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. He also received a fellowship in pulmonary and critical care medicine from Tulane Medical Center and LSU Medical Center. He is the Co-Director of the Intensive Care Unit at Martha Jefferson Hospital.
