The MJH team has extensive experience with 3D conformal therapy, pioneering its use in Central Virginia. This technique uses 3-dimensional imaging of the tumor in conjunction with computer optimized treatment planning and computer controlled treatment delivery to conform the radiation beam to the shape of the tumor. 3D-CRT is an excellent form of treatment for many types of cancer, including breast cancer, lung cancer, lymphomas and soft tissue sarcomas.
